Among the most important historical figures of the Russian revolutionary movement, on the one hand, and the Russian free press, on the other, until recently, was not mentioned the name of one of the most prominent Russian Zionists — Vladimir Zhabotinsky has not been fully examined until recently. His role in the history of the radical revolutionary movement deserves a full examination. The role of Zhabotinsky in understanding this historical process wasn't noticed because many important texts were issued under pseudonyms. These were incorrectly attributed in the Masanov's Dictionary, or were unknown. In some cases, instructions on press issues previously unknown to researchers are now attributed to texts by Zhabotinsky. Owing to the earlier primary source study work which had been partially executed earlier and partially presented in previous article, a new picture of the evolution of Zhabotinsky's views on the question of personal political terror was developed... Owing to the earlier primary source study work which had been partially executed earlier and partially presented in previous article, a new picture of the evolution of Zhabotinsky's views on the question of personal political terror was developed. This included historical analogies from the palace murders of Peter III and Paul I to the murder of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Plehve (1904) and the Prime Minister P. Stolypin (1911) by Sazonov and Bogrov and also judgments of Zhabotinsky about the explosion of the summer residency of Stolypin in 1906 were also presented. The work presents the mechanism of interaction of the Russian legal like “Oko'and “Den”' and revolutionary emigrant press such as “Osvobozhdenie” to provide an a unified understanding of the political and moral problems of political terror. Attention is paid to the proximity of political estimates in the press by Zhabotinsky and by the Zubatov in personal correspondence with the revolutionary V. Burtsev concerning the situation of total mutual terror between the authorities and the revolutionaries. The similarity of their thinking about getting out of this tragic mess was noticed. Special attention is paid to the role of Anti-Jewish riots during the First Russian Revolution and the formation of Zhabotinsky's position relative to this issue. Material presented in the article includes the name and work of Vladimir Zhabotinsky as well as a number of the most influential writers of the liberal-revolutionary Russian printing press around the years 1900 — 1910. function show_abstract() { $('#abstract1').hide(); $('#abstract2').show(); $('#abstract_expand').hide(); } ▼Показать полностью Ключевые слова: П.А.
